Know Your Phase
Same woman. Different phase.
Your cycle moves through four phases, and each one can bring its own shifts in energy, mood, and body. Get to know what may be happening—and see what sounds suspiciously familiar.
Menstrual
Do less.
Begins on day one of your period, when estrogen and progesterone are at their lowest. Some people notice lower energy and a pull toward rest.
Follicular
She's back.
Starts with your period and builds toward ovulation as estrogen rises. Many notice returning energy, motivation, and fresh-start curiosity.
Ovulatory
Go out.
Around the release of an egg, estrogen tends to peak. Some people feel more social, expressive, and confident during this window.
Luteal
Proceed accordingly.
After ovulation until your next period, progesterone rises and then falls. Some people notice shifts in mood, focus, appetite, or patience.
