The luteal phase begins after ovulation and lasts until your next period. Progesterone rises and then falls if pregnancy does not occur.

Energy may begin to shift downward, especially as you get closer to your period.

Some people notice changes in patience, focus, appetite, sleep, or emotional sensitivity during this phase.

Body

Bloating, breast tenderness, cravings, fatigue, headaches, and other PMS symptoms can appear.
